Smart Works x Stressed But Well Dressed

Behind the Seams: Meet the Smart Works Community

What does it really mean to be part of Smart Works in a world where systemic barriers still block so many women from opportunity?

That’s the heart of Stressed But Well Dressed — a five-part video podcast presented by Dahlia Stroud that shines a spotlight on the incredible individuals who make up the Smart Works community. From CEO to volunteer to client, each episode offers a warm, honest conversation that goes beyond what Smart Works does — to how it feels to be on the frontline of the charity.

In these episodes, hear from CEO Anna Hemmings as she shares insight into the charity’s unique approach and values; meet Victoria, Head of Wardrobe, who helps women find their strength through style; discover what motivates volunteers Janie and Alice to show up week after week; listen to Caroline Graham, Smart Works Ambassador, who reflects on fashion as a force for good; and listen to a former client; Asma’s inspiring journey from uncertainty to confidence and employment.

‍

“The right outfit can allow a woman to stand taller, feel relaxed and confident, and give her best in an interview.”  — Anna Hemmings, CEO

‍

Whether you’ve known Smart Works for years or are just discovering our community, Stressed But Well Dressed invites you behind the seams — into the stories, voices, and values that shape everything we do.
