This International Day of the Girl, Smart Works is spotlighting a hidden barrier to employment: digital exclusion.
From school to work to success, being left offline as a girl often means falling behind as a woman. Our campaign aims to raise awareness of this long-term inequality and drive support for the coaching that helps women catch up, skill up, and succeed.
We’re spotlighting the women who grew up without online access, professional networks or digital literacy and showing how that early divide still shapes job opportunities today. From school to work to success, being ‘offline’ as a girl meant falling behind as a woman.
When the odds are stacked against you, Smart Works is here, providing expert coaching and the confidence to break through. We don’t hand out laptops, but we deliver something just as vital: volunteers who know the digital landscape inside out, from CVs and LinkedIn to interviews and beyond.
This is a call to action. To donate. To mentor. To make sure no woman is left behind in a world that’s moving fast and a job market that’s harder than ever.
Because talent is everywhere. Opportunity shouldn’t be a privilege.
